ITOC LAUNCHES NEW BRAND

The Inbound Tour Operators Council of New Zealand (ITOC) launched its new brand during its annual conference held in Wellington this week.

Paul Yeo, chief executive of ITOC said, "The new brand is modern, descriptive and easily identifies the business that ITOC is in – bringing travellers to experience New Zealand . The organisation name stays the same but it now has a new revitalised businesslike image."

"Over the years the old ITOC brand has built a personality that is based on Integrity, Quality, Trust and delivering the best value and the best experience for clients and travellers from all around the world and these same values will continue to underpin the new brand," Mr Yeo said.

The brand design features an authentic Maori design within a map of that was specifically created for ITOC by Inia Maxwell of Tikanga reflecting the qualities of strength, growth, heritage, sharing and hospitality.

The overall brand development was undertaken by Reserve Group of Tauranga.

"A key part of the design is the incorporation of our website address – www.itoc.org.nz.– with the web site itself having been totally fitted out in a new skin to carry the fresh blue and green colours which represent the forests and waterways of that bring so many visitors to our shores," Mr Yeo said.
