New Zealand Hotel Council (NZHC)

The New Zealand Hotel Council ( formerly known as Major Accommodation Providers) is an Incorporated Society whose members include the international chain, independent, privately-owned and boutique hotels throughout the country.

The Memorandum of Understanding between ITOC and the NZ Hotel Council was signed in July 2004 in Wellington.

In December 2006 NZHC and ITOC released a document on Industry Terminology and Best Practice that was collaboratively written to clarify best practice guidelines and terminology used in the accommodation and inbound tour operator sectors.
